Monique J. Williams, PhD, MSPA
Associate Director of Research

Dr. Monique J. Williams is an Assistant Professor of Health and Academic Coordinator University of La Verne (ULV) Physician Assistant (PA) Program. At ULV, Dr. Williams teaches Research/Evidence Based Medicine and the Health Medicine Society series within the PA program, serves in various positions for committees throughout all levels of the university, and collaborates on interprofessional education projects and initiatives.  She received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences and her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences with a concentration in International Health Education and Research from Trident University.  Dr. Williams’ research and service interests address health disparities and inequities, improve health outcomes, increase awareness among clinicians and patients, and positively influence the health narratives of marginalized populations in the U.S.
