On August 28, 2018, the world lost the physical presence of Joseph W. Lamar. A devout minister and man of God, law enforcement dispatcher, loving father, husband, son, cousin, uncle, nephew, and more. He was many things for many people. His death, just like the deaths of millions others, was avoidable. This research institute is erected in his honor. May the products thereof work to solidify Joseph W. Lamar's legacy and to the betterment of all of humanity.
