Michelle Pasos, along with her husband, are the proud owners of United Yoga. Michelle has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and received her 200 hour YTT through YogaWorks. As an E-RYT, Michelle has over 3,500 hours of teaching experience including Iyengar, Vinyasa, kids yoga, mama and me, prenatal and advanced power flow.
The settings Michelle has taught in range from yoga studios in the SGV to a non-profit focusing on juvenile hall boys and teen moms to local universities. In 2011, Michelle received her master's in Kinesiology and has been teaching as a professor in the Exercise Science department at Azusa Pacific University for the last 4 years. Michelle has had the privilege of proposing and being granted Fitness for Life Yoga class which now serves over 50 students every semester. Michelle is passionate about student development and curriculum design. Teaching Prenatal special series and Arm Balancing workshops was the start of creating her own yoga curriculum. In addition to her human anatomy & exercise physiology background, Michelle serves as a guest teacher in fellow yoga teacher training programs. Michelle's ultimate goal has always been to lead future yoga teacher trainings and she is beyond excited to be on this journey. |
